Catharina died soon after arriving in Canada, and in 1859, Friedrich Kineapple and Fredericka were married.
Fredericka and Friedrich had five children of their own: Sophia, William, Henry, Frederick, and Joseph.
Fredericka died on October 7, 1884, in Wilmot Township, at the age of 59 years.
