Andrea Nicole Ray, A loving Daughter, Granddaughter, Sister, Mother, and a Friend to many, Age 21 years old, of Saleum, MO passed away on the morning of June 10, 2010. Her boyfriend murdered her by strangulation.

Andrea was born on December 19, 1988 in Granite City, Illinois.

She graduated from Salem High School in 2007 and she had been a member of the Cheerleading squad and she was the Homecoming Queen.

She was a member of the Dry Fork Baptist Church.

She loved to dance, liked riding four-wheelers, spending time at the river, and she especially loved her family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her grandfathers, Lloyd Ray and Ronald Buzick; and great grandparents.

Andrea Nicole Ray is survived by her parents, Theresa Ray and Jim Ray of Salem, Missouri; son, Brody Lee Ray of Salem, Missouri; four brothers, James Ray and wife, Regina of Antonio, Missouri, Justin Buzick of Collinsville, Illinois, Lance Regazzi and special friend, Ashley Parker of Springfield, Missouri, and Jacob Ray of Salem, Missouri; one sister, Abby Ray of Salem, Missouri; grandmothers, Gladys Ray of St. Clair, Missouri and Pat Buzick of Collinsville, Illinois as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service for Andrea Ray was held on June 13, 2010 in the Wilson Mortuary (Salem) Chapel with Bro. Lyndell Decker officiating. Music was by Korina & Katie Lea and Teresa Decker. Serving as pallbearers were: James Ray, Justin Buzick, Lance Regazzi, and Jacob Ray. Interment followed the service at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
