Funeral services for Aubrey "Lee" Acreman, age 79, of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be 2:00PM, Monday, June 29, 2009 at Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Jordan officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00PM - 9:00PM and Monday from 8:00AM until service time at Cox Funeral Home.
Mr. Lee retired from Bennett Tire and Service Center. He was a kind and gentle man and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey A. Acreman and Uner Thrower Acreman; brother, Billy Acreman; three sisters, Ora Murphy, Annie Ainsworth, and Lula Malone.
Lee is survived by his brother, Jessie Acreman of Oak Grove, Louisiana; brother and sister-in-law, David Acreman and Linda Acreman of Oak Grove, Louisiana; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna Lester and Tucker Lester of Oak Grove, Louisiana, Irene Ellison and Doug Ellison of Oak Grove, Louisiana, Doris Nations and James Nations of Prairieville, Louisiana, Ruby Creech and Marvin Creech of Oak Grove, Louisiana; Numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Creech, Jamie Acreman, Jeff Acreman, Ronnie Ainsworth, Larry "Bear" Lester, Buddy Murphy.
