Marjorie Edith Burns, 72, passed away April 27, 1999 after a long illness. Marjorie was born February 20, 1927 in Tonawanda, New York, the daughter of Herbert E. and Gertrude Bristow Burns. She was united in marriage to Norman P. Bagwell on September 2, 1950. She devoted her life to family and friends. Marge enjoyed new adventures, especially traveling to new places. She loved the seashore and those early morning walks shelling on the beach. She will be remembered for her caring spirit,lively wit, and beautiful smile. She was an active member of Crown Heights Christian Church and an alumni of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband Norman, a daughter, Laura Bagwell Matheson, and a sister Marion G. Burns . She is survived by her daughter Barbara and son-in-law Dan Lyons of Springfield, MO; daughter Judy Steele of OKC, OK; daughter Mary and son-in-law Joe D. Martin of Ardmore, OK; and seven grandchildren.
