Mrs. Mary Morse Boardman, 81, Nevada, died at 10:35 p.m. Thursday at the Story
County Hospital after an illness of three days.
Born in Wisconsin, she had lived in Story county for 70 years. She was married
to Frank Boardman Dec. 4, 1901 in Nevada. He preceded her in death in 1956.
She is survived by three sons, Edward M. of Palos Verdes, Calif.; William K. of
Ketchifan, Alaska and Frederick C., Oklahoma City, Okla.; a brother; a sister,
Mrs. Charles Aschford, Los Angeles, Calif. and seven grandchildren.
Her parents, five sisters and a daughter, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from Central Presbyterian Church with
the Rev. Frank K. Hladky officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.
Mrs. Boardman was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church, P.E.O. and the
DAR.
