Jennie M. Autterson
St. Clair - Mrs. Joseph W. Autterson and Mrs. John T. Autterson, sisters-in-law and both widows of Great Lakes sailors, died Friday in St. Clair. Mrs. Jennie M. Autterson, 75, of 402 South Sixth street, died late Friday in St. Clair Community Hospital after a short illness. She was the widow of Capt. John T. Autterson. Mrs. Autterson was born Feb. 17, 1881 in St. Clair. She and Capt. John T. Autterson were married Jan. 1, 1901. Captain Autterson died in 1932. Mrs Autterson was a life member of St. Mary's Catholic church and the Legion of Mary Society and the Rosary Society. Mrs Autterson is survived by two sons, Lawrence J. Autterson, Agdensburg, N. Y., and John G. Autterson, Duluth, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon Raddatz, Alpena, and Mrs. Dwight M. Snodgrass Jr., St. Clair; a sister, Mrs. Frank Westrick, and five grandchildren; five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Remains are in the L. C. Friederichs & Son funeral home. Funeral services will be at 9:30 A.M. Monday in the funeral home, and 10 A.M. in St. Mary's Catholic church. Rev. Harold J. Kreucher, assistant pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery. Rosary devotions will be held 8 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home for men of the parish, and 8 P.M. Sunday for women of the parish.
