Founder of Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. Won many aviation related awards, including the Wright Brothers Memorial Trophy in 1987 and the Howard Hughes Award for Aviation in 1988, and holds many international speed records. He was also one of thoroughbred horse racing's most successful owners and breeders.
