Obituary from the Weston Democrat Friday January 14, 1910: M. B. Riley died at his home on Alum Fork Sunday at the advanced age of 70 years. Was buried at the Catholic cemetery on Fink Tuesday. He was born in Maryland, and came to this country with his parents when a young man. Survived by wife and eight children.

Married to Catherine Kenney on September 1867. Remains interred at the Fink Creek Cemetery on Tuesday. Leaves wife, five sons and three daughters.
