OBITUARY - The Baytown (TX) Sun - Monday, 15 Feb 1965

RITES HELD MONDAY FOR ALBERT JOHNNIE BUSCH SR.

Funeral services for Albert Johnnie Busch Sr., 62, pioneer Baytown businessman, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Earthman Chapel.

A native of Chambers County, Busch had owned and operated a grocery store here since 1927. The store is located on East Texas.

The Rev. Edwin T. Summers, pastor of Grace Methodist church, officiated in services. Burial was in Cedar Bayou Masonic Cemetery, under direction of Earthman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mabry Summers Busch, 214 W. Adoue; two sons, Albert Johnnie Busch Jr., former city engineer of Baytown, and Robert Christopher Busch of Baytown; a daughter, Miss arolyn Busch of Austin; two brothers, charles E. Busch of Baytown and F. M. Busch of Mont Belvieu; three sisters, Mrs. Collie Arrington of Anderson, TX, Mrs. Florence Helfrich of Baytown and Mrs. Lucy Casey of Mont Belvieu; two grandchildren, Albert J Busch III and Susan Busch.

Busch was a member of Cedar Bayou Masonic Lodge No. 321 and Grace Methodist Church.
