In the picture, Shane Eithna Kearney, Michael Fitzgerald "Mick Fitz" (family friend) and Brendan Shane Kearney. Two brothers killed during WWII. Brendan was a member of the Irish Guards and is buried in Bell's Cemetery. Shane, his brother, is mentioned on his headstone as he was a British paratrooper shot down over Germany. The German villagers buried him in Wesel, Germany. Brendan is buried by his loving parents John Andrew and Mary Catherine Kearney "nee Manning." He is my uncle. By: Fiona Lincke-Dion
