The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Mrs. Turney died Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at Bethesda Health Care Center.
She was born April 2, 1913, in Paris, Tenn., to the late Thomas and Lena Trotter Snow.
She was a retired manager of Western Union.
She was a member of Cookeville First United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Women's Circle.
She was elected Queen Mother in 1980.
Her family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Bob and Helen Turney of Lenoir City; a sister, Lena Mae Myrick of Paris; two grandchildren and their spouses, Steven and Gwynn Turney of Lexington, Ky., and Lisa and Lance Strawn of Nashville; and four great-grandchildren, Eric, Kayla and Rebecca Turney and Kyra Strawn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Turney.
Pallbearers will be Dave Whitson, Raymond Holbrook, Gilbert Berry, Tom Evans, Jim Stump, Jr. Palk and Pat Quillen.
The Rev. Gerald Taylor will officiate the services.
