Anthony "Tony" E. Blackburn, born Feb. 13, 1950 of Indianapolis, a Master State Trooper of 37 years passed away peacefully Monday surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by wife Linette; mother, Bille Jean; brothers, Tom, Ted; sisters, Judy Barber, Sue O'Brien; children, Dawn Guffey , Shanna, Anthony, and Thomas Blackburn, Andre'a Compton, Courtney and Caylee Dunn and Mike Taylor; grandchildren, Shea Guffey, Ethan Blackburn and Mikey Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas V. Blackburn.

Tony served 6 years in the US Army and fought in the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Army Service Ribbon, Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Service Medal.
