Funeral services for Rev. Danny Stevenson will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at North Hodge Assembly of God Church in North Hodge, LA at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Elton Gunter, Rev. Roger Baker, Rev. William Vickery, Rev. Donny Fulenwider, Rev. Geary Phillips and Rev. Gene Cumpton. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Quitman, LA.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2010 at North Hodge Assembly of God from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Rev. Stevenson was born on July 29, 1949 and passed away on August 21, 2010, he was 61. Rev. Stevenson was a member of North Hodge Assembly and has been in the ministry for 41 years. As an evangelist he traveled all over the southern United States.
Survivors include his wife, Duana Stevenson of Quitman, one sister, Pat Stevenson Barfield and husband Cecil of Quitman, LA. and a nephew Richard Blake Stevenson of Quitman, LA.
Pallbearers will be, Richard Blake Stevenson, Jared Putman, Seth Baker, Todd Savage, Quentin Smith Leonard and Joe Austin. Honorary pallbearers will be all ministers present.
