Mrs. Lydia A. England, 66 years old, 1615 Pennsylvania avenue, died at 3:45 o’clock this morning in General hospital after an illness of three years. She was the widow of R. P. England, Missouri Pacific railroad engineer, who died in 1942. She was born in McDonald county, Missouri, October 5, 1879, and had lived In Joplin most of her life. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic church and was a charter member of the Emerson Study Club. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. J. Lyle McManamy of Mount Vernon, Ill.; a son. John J. England, 112 East Nineteenth street; a brother, Peter Collins of Stella; a niece, Mrs. Sam Weidman of Seneca, and two nephews. Peter Collin, jr., of Stella and Tom Burke, 1515 Moffet avenue. The body was received by the Halibut Undertaking Company.
