"Last Will and Testament of Elizabeth E. Jordan of Fort Houston, Anderson County, Texas,
18 February 1850.
To my daughter, Nancy Frost and her heirs, Samuel and Joseph, "My whole Messauge Lands
tenements and heriditaments with the appurtenances situated, lying and being at, about
and around Fort Houston in the County of Anderson." Mentions, "Eldest daughter, Polly
Gatewood, $5.00; daughter, Betsy Greenwood, $5.00; daughter, Gilithia Dodds, $5.00;
granddaughter, Betsy Jane Glenn, child of daughter, Malinda, $5.00. All to be paid unto
them Respectively as soon as one year after my decease shall be expired."
Also mentions, "All the rest of my personal estate after debts, etc., I do give and
bequeath unto my friend, F. J. V. Kirclehair for his own and sole use and benefit, and I
do hereby constitute and appoint my friend, F. J. V. Kirclehair, as my Executor...."
Witnesses: Joshua W. Hollingsworth, near Palestine; Ferdenand J. V. Kirclehair, near
Palestine.
