Funeral services for Ernest Tuley Sr., 87, of Lewistown were held 2 p.m. Monday Nov. 10, 1986, at Lewistown Baptist Church by the Rev. Elmer McCully. Burial was in Lewistown Cemetery. Tuley died at 10:20 p.m. Friday, November 7, 1986 at Blessing Hospital emergency room. He was struck by a car in Lewistown Friday. A retired farmer and carpenter, Mr. Tuley was born January 29, 1899 in Clark County, Mo., a son of Sam and Elizabeth Armstrong Tuley. He married Crystal C. Hamilton February 18, 1918 at her parents' home in Lewis County. Tuley was a member of Lewistown Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of Lewistown, two sons, Elmo Tuley of Lewistown and Ernest Dewey Tuley, Jr. of Quincy; one daughter, Mrs. J. C. (Mary) Wheeler of rural Canton; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
