Abiah Hinckley's mother was Thankful (Trott) Hinckley. Abiah married Samuel Chipman. Abiah's maternal grandparents were Thomas and Sarah Trott. Abiah's aunt Preserved (Trott) married John Baker, and their daughter Sarah Baker married Oliver Wiswall. Trott/Treat are surname variations. Abiah's mother also married Jonathan Crocker. Mayflower Silver Book: "Division of her estate was 27 May 1722; John Hinckley, eldest son; son James to pay Samuel Chipman and wife Abiah and Thankful Hinckley, daughters of the deceased." Abiah's mother must have died about 1722, but websites claim she died in 1763 - this is a huge conflict.
