Emily married George Waldron in Michigan sometime in 1861 (probably also in Leelanau County) and would settle in Antrim County, Michigan, just across Grand Traverse Bay from the Leelanau Peninsula. They would have six children: Lorenzo, Lucinda, George, Eugene, Catherine, and Albert. Although they lived in Michigan for many years, after the turn of the century, the family moved to Hoquiam, Washington (near Aberdeen).
Emily passed away on December 22, 1916 at their home and was buried at Forest Home Cemetery in Cosmopolis, Washington. George lived several more years and also died at home on April 26, 1924 and was likely buried near Emily.
