WHITTAKER-Entered into rest on Thursday, August 19, 2010, Mrs. Nelda Jean Trotter Whittaker, age 68 of Trenton, S. C., loving wife for 50 years to Donald Lee Whittaker and daughter of the late Nathan and Mattie Jennings Trotter. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons; Christopher Lee Whittaker of Edgefield, Donald Richard Whittaker of Clearwater, Virgil Mark Whittaker of Louisiana, Jeffery Nathan Whittaker and Jamie Lee Whittaker both of Trenton; a daughter, Renee Gavlinski of Grovetown, Ga.; sisters, Patricia Davis of Augusta, Ga. and Barbara Schmidt of Oregon; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who next to her children really had a great love for fishing. She shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched along the way. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Monday evening, August 23, 2010 at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
