Mitsuyo Abe
Mitsuyo Abe, 76, of Pepeekeo, died Aug. 21. Funeral arrangements are with Hawaii Funeral Home. Combined wake and funeral services will be held at Honomu Hongwanji at 7 p.m. Sunday. Cremation will follow at Homelani Crematory.
Mrs. Abe was born in Pepeekeo. She is survived by four sons: Donald (Lina) of Pepeekeo; Harold (Carol) and Calvin (Jayne) both of Honolulu, and Richard (Maxine) of California.
There are six daughters: Elsie (Mrs. Eugene) Cambra and Elaine Macanas, both of Pepeekeo; Jeanette (Mrs. Jacob) Kiko of Hilo; Joanne (Mrs. James) Quisano of Honolulu; Darleen (Mrs. Richard) Rodrigues of California and Abigail Abe of Yokohama, Japan.
She is also survived by a brother, Shigeru (Shizue) Takai of Pepeekeo; a sister-in-law, Yoshimi Takai of Pepeekeo and 21 grandchildren
