. Anna Blockley, 75, of 301 E. Eichel-av, died Friday, July 2, 1948 in Deaconess Hospital. She was born on July 8, 1873 in Mount Vernon, Indiana.
For many years Mrs Blockley operated a lunch room in Mt. Vernon.
She had been residing here with a daughter, Mrs. Aloise Williams. Other survivors are: daughter Mrs. M. K. Allyn, Chicago; sister Mrs. Carrie Hancock, Mt. Vernon; brother, Elmer Goldsmith, Grayville, Ill., half-sister, Mrs. Mae Barter, Detroit, and three grandchildren.
