Mildred died in the Fort Smith Hospital at age 71. After the death of her husband Airl, she continued living in Fort Smith.
Mildred's funeral was 10 May in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
Mildred's survivors include her two sons: Larry Eugene who lives in Colchester, Illinois and Jeral L. who lives in Chester, Illinois. The obit lists the following additional survivors: two sisters, Wilma Barrow of Fort Smith and Wanda DeShazo of Fort Worth; two brothers, Merle Barnett of DeSoto, Texas, and Wayne Barnett of Fort Smith; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
