Services were from the Beth [sic Boeuf] Prairie Methodist Church at Fort Necessity, the Rev. J. W. Boyd officiating. Interment followed in B[o]euf Prairie Cemetery under the direction of First National Funeral Home here.
Mr. Burt was a veteran of World War One and a resident of Fort Necessity for 28 years.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Effie Burt; two brothers, Felix of Fort Bragg, Calif. and Ira of Bogue Chitto, Miss.; a sister, Mrs. T. J. Sasser of Bogue Chitto; and a number of nieces and nephews.
