Leona was a graduate of Reedsburg High School and the Sauk County Norman School. On Sept 3, 1938, she was married to Francis "Jack" Adelman. Together they operated Adelman's Towne Club in Reedsburg for many years. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Leona enjoyed golfing and playing bridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; three sisters, Gladys Thomas, Grace Hoeverman and Geneva Bridgeford; and two brothers, Arthur and Charles Thomas.
Survivors include her four children, William (Loretta) of Reedsburg, Thomas (Judi) of Reedsburg, Joan (Michael) Eharoshe of Brookfield and Jeanne (Jerrell) Schuette of Reedsburg; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a special friend, Mary C Gavin; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
