Funeral services for Abner (Ab) Cox, 63, were held Friday morning at St. John the Baptist Catholic church, Lexington, with Rev Kenneth Fulton officiating.
Interment was made in the Lexington cemetery. Cox, a resident of Lexington almost all of his life, died shortly after suffering a heart attack at his home Thursday morning. He was an employee at the Lexington annex hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Anna of the home, 3 sons, Raymond and Carl, both of Lexington and Junior Cox of Noble, 2 daughters, Mrs Catherine Feuerborn of Lexington and Mrs Pauline Brown of San Diego, CA., and 6 grandchildren.
