Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) for Mrs Anna Catherine Cox, 88, of Lexington. The services will include a Rosary which was scheduled for 8pm Wednesday night, Oct 22, at Little's funeral home with the funeral Mass planned for 10am Thursday, Oct 23, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic church with Father Gerard MacAuley officiating.
Interment will be in the Lexington Catholic cemetery with Little's funeral home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs Cox was born 2/1/1898 in Cleveland county, and she had lived in the Lexington area since 1905. She was a member of the St John the Baptist Catholic church in Lexington. She died Tuesday, Oct 21, in the Lexington nursing home following an extended illness.
Survivors include 2 sons, Raymond Cox of Lexington and John Cox of Haslet, TX, 2 daughters, Catherine Feuerborn of Lexington and Pauline Cox of San Diego, CA., 1 brother, Raymond Ille of Temple, OK., 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
