SUNDERLAND - Anna L. Frost, 83, died Sept. 19, 2002, at South-western Vermont
Medical Center in Bennington.

She was born Sept. 19, 1919, in Goldens Bridge, N.Y., the daughter of George and
Rosana (Paro) Stroffoleno.

She attended Arlington schools.

She married Irving Frost on Feb. 13, 1937.

Mrs. Frost worked at the IGA in East Arlington for many years, retiring in 1981.

She loved to bake for family and friends, and enjoyed crocheting and making baby
Afghans for new members of the family. She also enjoyed raising African violets,
and in her younger years was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include a daughter, Don-na Stoothoff of East Sound, Wash.; three sons,
Donald Frost of Manchester, David Frost of Danby and John Frost of Shushan,
N.Y.; two brothers, Robert Stroffoleno and Richard Stroffoleno, both of West
Arlington; three sisters, Mary Miner of Manchester, Barbara Ericksen of West
Arlington and Dorothy Manning of Punta Gorda, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and 19
great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years; a son, Doyle Frost and stepson,
Irving Frost; a sister, Lucille; and five brothers, George, Vincent, Francis,
James and William.

The funeral service will be today at 11 a.m. at the Federated Church in East
Arlington with the Rev. Joan O'Gorman, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow
in Ira Allen Cemetery in Sunderland.

A reception will be held in Bailey Hall at the church after the service.
