Amy Forsythe Jones, wife of Alfred L. Scantlebury, a Manhattan steamship agent and member of the board of vestrymen of St. Matthews P. E. Church, died Tuesday at her residence, 416 Monroe street. She was born in the Fifth Ward, July 23, 1854. Her parents were John and Jean Jones. She formerly resided many years in the Bushwick district, and leaves her husband, a daughter, Jean Stevenson; two sons, Alfred L., jr., and Howard; a sister, Estelle, and two brothers, Charles L. and John M.
