FERTILE, MINN.- Mrs. August (Alma) Berhow, 77, died here Tuesday. The funeral will be at 2 Saturday in Varnes Lutheran Church near here. Alma Overland was born at Winger, Minn., July 13, 1895, and came here when a child. She was married Aug. 16, 1916, after which the couple farmed. She was also a dressmaker. Her husband died in 1958. She leaves three sons and four daughters, Muret, Marvin, Leon, Mrs. Bernice Engelstad and Mrs. DeLoris Doak, all Fertile; Mrs. Ward (Carna) Grager, Olympia, Wash.; Mrs. William (Arlene) Blewett, Manteca, Calif.; A brother and two sisters, Guy Overland, Fertile; Mrs. Elliott (Anna) Melberg, 1024 2nd St. S, Moorhead; Mrs. Herman (Gemella) Schumacher, Seattle, Wash.; 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
