Beloved mother and grandmother, Nellie May Jacobson Groo, 85, passed away Thursday, March 28, 1996 of causes incident to age.

She was born June 10, 1910 in Randolph, Utah to Amasa "P" Jacobson and Etta Marie Peay Jacobson.

She married Earl A. Groo June 15, 1936.

Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She is survived by seven children: Denis (Nancy) Groo, of Orem; Roger (Pam) Groo, of Vernal; Dallas Reed (Janice) Groo, of Lindon; R. Alan (JoAnne) Groo, of West Jordan; Neldon (Peggy) Groo, of Provo; Don (Elizabeth) Groo, of Bennion; and LeeAnn (Merrill) Brockbank, of Provo; a sister, Norma Lynn Cuff, 29 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, JoAnn, three sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call Monday, April 1, 6-8 p.m. at Berg Mortuary, 185 E. Center St., Provo and one hour prior to services at the Lakeside 7th Ward Chapel, 2225 West 620 North, Provo, Tuesday, April 2, 11 a.m.
