TRAVERSE CITY—Marguerite Louise Waldron, 96, a homemaker from Traverse City, pass away peacefully Sunday Jan 2, 2005, at Munson Medical Center.
Born Aug. 5, 1908, in Port Oneida, she was the daughter of Nels and Ella (Weed) Oleson.
A life-long resident of Traverse City, Marguerite was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, reading and the beauty of flowers. Her true interest and joy was the time she spent with her extended family.
She is survived by one son, Richard W. (Ruth) Waldron of Traverse City; 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Waldron, daughter, Marjorie Manigold; son Robert J. Waldron, sister, Dorothy Brayton and brother, Gerald Oleson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, where friends may call an hour prior to the service. The Rev. Robert Zagore will officiate. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
