Mrs. Lydia Tyler, 83, of Shreveport, died July 5, after an
extended illness.
Funeral services were held July 7, at the Bayou Scie Methodist Church, the Rev. Willis Greer officiating.
Interment was at Bayou Scie Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.
She is survived by 3 sons, Jasper Tyler of Shreveport, C. J. Tyler of Port Barrie, And R. L. Tyler of Noble; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Simpson of Las Cruces, New Mexico; a brother, Lenward Webb of Kansas; five sisters, Mattie Allen of Shreveport, Hattie Blackwell of Minden, Beulah Odom, Inez Van, and Ruth Terrell, all of Texas; also 21 grandchildren; and 54 great grandchildren; and
11 great-great grandchildren.
