November 1889; Altie, 8 yrs. old b. February 1892; Louis S., 6 yrs. old b. January 1894; Aline, 4 yrs. old b. March 1896 & Veral L. Leftwich, 2 yrs. old b. March 1898. All born in TN).

Funeral services were held Monday morning for Martin Leftwich, 80, retired farmer of Putnam county, who died Saturday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. C. Huddleston, and Mrs. Huddleston, near Gentry. The services were conducted at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. T. Stone and Mr. Stone in Cookeville, with the Rev. A. J. Morgan, pastor of the Cookeville Methodist church, in charge. Burial was in the city cemetery.
He was a member of the Methodist church.
His wife died in February. They had been married 58 years.
Besides his two daughters, Mrs. Huddleston and Mrs. Stone, he is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. J. A. Isbell of Cookeville and Mrs. V. D. Nunally; and four sons, W. R., W. E., Solon and Guy Leftwich of Buffalo Valley.
