COUPLE KILLED IN CAR CRASH
Train Strikes Truck at Crossing Southwest of Carthage.
Carthage, Mo., July 15. - Mr. and Mrs. Oscar M. Burnham, each about 36, died in a Carthage hospital tonight of injuries they suffered when their light pick-up truck and a Missouri Pacific passenger train collided on a grade crossing six miles southwest of here.
The Burnham car was demolished and they were thrown out. The accident occurred at a crossing on a private lane leading to the home of friends that the Burnhams were on the way to visit.
