FRIENDS, RELATIVES PAY FINAL TRIBUTES TO DON SIDDOWAY

Many frienda and relatives gathered in Maeser Chapel Wednesday at 1 p.m. to pay their last tributes to 17-year-old Don Laurence Siddoway, who died February 25 in the Uintah County hospital after a long illness.

Donny was born August 20, 1939 to Laurence Y. and Merle Jensen Siddoway.

Prelude and postlude music was played by Margret Roberts. Opening prayer was by Duane Price. The opening song, "Perfect Day" was sung by Virginia Hacking accompanied by Margret Roberts.

Danny Turner was the first speaker who told of Donny's love for his family and outdoor activities. A mixed quartet consisting of Maude Goodrich, Tauline Anderson, Byron Goodrich and Lowe Goodrich sang "Lead Me Gently Home" accompanied by Rhea Goodrich.

Second speaker was Harvey McKee who also paid tribute to young Donny. An organ solo, "One Sweetly Solemn Thought" was played by Mrs. Ruth Jones. Closing remarks were made by Bishop Ward Evans and closing prayer was offered by Victor Bingham.

Interment was in Maeser Cemetery under the direction of the Vernal Mortuary. Earl Jensen dedicated the grave.

Survivors besides parents include two sisters, Mrs. Lou Ellen Hunt of Craig, Colorado and Jeanne Siddoway; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Siddoway of Vernal; grandmother, Mrs. Vilate Bodily of Vernal and grandfather, Julius Jensen of Richfield.

Pallbearers were Alan Martin, Bob Hunt, Keith Sessions, Jimmy Jenkins, Ralph McConkie and Dale Van Leuven.

Members of the Junior Current Topics Club have prepared a hot meal every day during the past year for the Siddoway family.
