June J. Leany, 67, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 26, 1934, in Springdale, Utah. A resident for 49 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the Relief Society Organization.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Eugene; three sons, Douglas Leany of Temecula, Calif., and Kevin Leany and Brent Leany, both of Henderson; two sisters, Arva Brown of Elsinore, Calif., and LaRee Hatch of North Las Vegas; one brother, Kenneth Johnson of North Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. services Friday in the LDS Palo Verde chapel. Graveside services will be noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
