"White Sulphur Veterinarian Traffic Fatality
Dr. Robert H. Sterrett, veterinarian and rancher in White Sulphur Springs died Sunday morning following a car accident east of Townsend.
He was born in Corner, Alabama, Sept. 13, 1920. He graduated from Auburn University in 1944 and was a veteran and Captain in the Air Force during the Korean War.
He was a practicing veterinarian in White Sulphur Springs and Townsend since 1953. He also owned a ranch near White Sulphur.
He married Barbara Rostad. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, William C. and James L. of White Sulphur Springs.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Lutheran Church in Lennep. Burial will be in the Lennep Cemetery. Twitchell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."
