She is the daughter of Adam and Catharine Coppess Brewer. She married Gilkie Cunningham on 23 Sep 1905 and their seven children are: an infant stillborn daughter (1906), Ellsworth (1907-1928), Chester (1909-2001), Mildred (1912-1993), Forest (1914-1973), Lawrence (1916-1922), and Edith (1923-2006).

Margaret Clara Brewer Cunningham, daughter of Adam and Catherine Coppess Brewer, was born 31 Oct 1882 in Darke County, Adams Township, passed away 22 Aug 1952 at 4:30 p.m., age 69 years, 9 months and 22 days.

On 23 Sep 1905, she was married to Gilkie Cunningham (1883-1969) and to that union was born two daughters, Mrs. J.R. (Mildred Cunningham) Garbig, Gettysburg, Ohio, and Mrs. Ed. (Edie) Gustin, Piqua; two sons, Chester, R.R. 5, and Forest, at home. Three children preceded her in death (the infant stillborn daughter, Ellsworth and Lawrence).

Her husband and these children survive as does a sister, Mrs. Cyrus (Adeline) McClain of Jackson, Michigan; also eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and many friends.

The family wishes to thank everyone who sent cards and letters of sympathy and flowers and who helped in any way during the short illness and death of Mother, and for the beautiful flowers.
