MARY RUTH SHAW, Age 78, of Lake City, passed away Thursday, October 1, 1998, at the Lake City Health Care Center. She was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church. She was born December 25, 1919. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Shaw; parents, Leroy and Pearl Elizabeth Abner; brother, Billy Hugh Abner.

Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Wilma and Charlie Johnson, Clinton; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Debbie Shaw, Lake City; grandchildren, Monte and Willene Braden, Lake City, Tambra Braden, Knoxville, Dionne and Wesley Hatmaker, Norris, B.J. Shaw, Lake City; great-grandchildren, Brandy Braden, Blake Braden, Lacey Braden, Katelyn Hatmaker, Weston Hatmaker; brother, Turner Abner, Lake City; sister-in-law, Jean Abner, Lake City; nephews, Terry Abner, Kelly Abner; niece, Tracey Abner.
