Sherrel Elaine Carmack, 64, of Florence, passed away, Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at her residence. She was a member of Parkway Community Church and a retired seamstress.
Visitation was Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, in Greenview Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Donnie Clayton and the Rev. Larry Young officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Carmack was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mildred Ticer, and a grandson, Bryan Thomas Moore.
She is survived by her husband, Gary R. Carmack, Florence; sons, Danny Nichols (Anita), Elizabethtown, Ky., Perry Allred (Debbie), Rome, Miss.; daughters, Dana Carroll (John), Traci Moore (Greg), Brandi Thomas (A.J.), all of Florence, Angela Huffine (David), Lexington; brother, Travis Ticer (Melissa), Greenhill, Ala.; sisters, Pat Carpenter (Ray), Gennie Heathcoat (Jerry), all of Florence; grandchildren, Britiany Hawkins, Florence, Alisha Allred, Baton Rouge, La., Jamie Jones, St. Joseph, Tenn., Jessica Jones, Florence, Stephanie Milam, Elizabethtown, Ky., Mike Slaven, Elizabethtown, Ky.; great-grandchildren, Ethan Hawkins, Florence, Connor Milam, Elizabethtown, Ky., and Caileigh Jones, Lexington, Ala.
Pallbearers will be Ray Carpenter III, Joshua Heathcoat, Jesse Heathcoat, Jeff Frost, Kevin Ticer and Stevie Matthews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Condery, T.C. Barnett, Tom Barnett, Jerry McWilliams and Brian Sheffield.
