Hernando, Mississippi - ROBERT A. PINKSTON, 79, retired from the railroad as an engineer, died August 17, 2010 at the Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at 12:30 p.m., Friday, August 20 at Hernando Funeral Home. Interment will be in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Pinkston was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Kathleen Pinkston and a brother, Otis Pinkston. Survivors include his wife, Jean Pinkston; daughters, Daine Pinkston of Texas; three stepdaughters all of Memphis, TN, Marilyn Clark, Terri Craven and LeAnn Choi; two stepsons both of Tennessee, Timothy Sheppard and Lonnie Sheppard; two brothers, Grant Pinkston of Tennessee and Maurice Pinkston of Mississippi; 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
