George Thomas Kiser, 84, of Taneytown, Md., died Thursday, Feb. 3, at the Westminster Nursing and Convalescent Center.
He was the husband of Ruthanna Flickinger Kiser.
Born in Middleburg, Md., he was a son of the late Eilliam Thomas and Mary Margaret Harmon Kiser.
He was employed as a machinist by Cambridge Rubber Co. in Taneytown and earlier in his career by Western Maryland Dairy in Detour, Md. He was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Taneytown; a member of Taneytown Rod and Gun Club, Moose Lodge No. 227 of Hanover; and served on the Taneytown City Council.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Margaret Ann Myers of Timonium; one sister, Elenora Kiser of Hanover; and two grandchildren.
Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Taneytown.
