Mr. Cobb had returned to his home a few days ago from a hospital where he had been confined several weeks with pneumonia. Death was the result of a heart condition.
A resident of near Fletcher[, Oklahoma] since 1909, Mr. Cobb moved to Fletcher[, Oklahoma] a few years ago after operating a farm about a mile northwest of here for may years.
Born in Saint Jo, Tex[as], he moved to Comanche County from Montague [County], Tex[as], where he was married to the former Jane E. Everett in 1907. He has been a member of the Christian Church since 1924.
Survivors include his wife; a son: Buster Cobb [of] Cyril[, Oklahoma]; a daughter: Mrs. Clara Howard [of] Fletcher[, Oklahoma];...three grandchildren; a brother: Will Cobb [of] Lawton[, Oklahoma]; and a sister: Mrs. Hattie Cable [of] Fletcher[, Oklahoma]....
Funeral services will be held at the Fletcher[, Oklahoma] Christian Church at 2:30 pm [on] Thursday [22 Jan 1948]. The Wisener Funeral Home of Fletcher[, Oklahoma] is in charge of arrangements.
