Joseph Allison born 1789 in Penn. married Elizabeth Spawn around 1813. She was born in 1790 and was also from Penn. They moved to Ohio. They had 8 children John, Elizabeth, Mary, Margaret, Jane, Martha, Joseph and Katherine the youngest (she may be listed as Catherine) born Nov 27 1831. They moved to Morgan county Illinois 1838 or 1840.
They moved to Cass Co., IL around 1847. Both Joseph and Elizabeth died in 1859 about a week apart I think??? Katherine married John Strange Boicourt 10/16/1850.. Joseph and his wife are buried in the Chandlerville Cemetary, but only one of them has a stone.
