Fletcher (Staff) -- Mrs. Dovie Belle Seymour, 76, a resident of the Fletcher area since 1924, died late Tuesday [22 Mar 1977] in a Lawton[, Oklahoma] hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral will be at 3 pm Thursday [24 Mar 1977] in the Fletcher Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. Burial will be in the Fletcher Cemetery under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home [in] Fletcher[, Oklahoma].
Mrs. Seymour was born Oct[ober] 23, 1900 in Konawa[, Oklahoma] and moved to the Alex[, Oklahoma] community as a child. She also lived near Rush Springs[, Oklahoma] and in the Acme[, Oklahoma] community before moving to the Fletcher[, Oklahoma] area in 1924. She was married to Henry Seymour [on] Oct[ober] 1, 1916 in Rush Springs[, Oklahoma]. She was a member of the Rush Springs Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her husband of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Velva Miller [of] Fletcher[, Oklahoma] and Mrs. Dorothy Dewbre [of] Oklahoma City[, Oklahoma]; one son, Marvin [of] Fletcher[, Oklahoma]; one brother, Andrew Guinn [of] Henderson, Nev[ada]; two sisters, Mrs Wesley Frehner [of] Las Vegas, Nev[ada] and Mrs. Russell Kirklin [of] Fletcher[, Oklahoma]; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
