Services for Mary Louise Pike, of Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., Wednesday May 9, 2007, at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Dan Spencer and the Rev. Tom Jacobs will officiate and interment is in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers are Jesse Gaines, Jeff Willis Terry West, Don Garland, Maurice Chastain and Stan MeLeod.

Mrs. Pike was born April 22, 1914, in Newbern, Va., to the late Helen Oberton and Jay Hoge Myers. On June 6, 1936, she married John Taylor Pike, who preceded her in death on Aug. 20, 1984. Mrs. Pike had resided in Thomasville for the last 30 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as a pink lady at Archbold Medical Center for more than 20 years.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law John and Laura Pike; daughter, Mary Ellen Pike; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Pike; grandchildren, Bryan Pike and wife Ginny, Heather Pike, Jeff Pike and wife Anna Lynn; great-grandchildren, McKenzie Letchworth, Charlie Letchworth, Hayden Pike and Bryson Pike. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey L. Pike and a grandson, John Taylor Pike.
