Hal Flynn received a message Thursday morning to the effect that his mother was dying and he left on the first train for Chicago, but arrived too late to see her alive. She died Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock in the Washington Park hospital, where she had been taken four weeks ago for medical treatment. She was to have been operated upon, but was never strong enough to have it done. The body was taken to Rensselaer Friday morning where the funeral services were held Sunday afternoon and the remains laid to rest in the Weston cemetery. She was 57 years old and leaves a husband and three children to mourn her loss among them being Mr. Hal Flynn of this place, Mr. and Mrs. Flinn [sic] went from here to attend the funeral.
