"Mrs Elda May Gerow, 90, who had made her home at 327 E Central Ave with Mrs Martha Wicker, died there yesterday afternoon after a long illness. Mrs Gerow had lived most of her life in the Cambridge Springs area. She was born in Greenwood Township, Sept 19, 1873, the daughter of Jacob H Smock and Liza Hall Smock. She married Cecil E Gerow, who died in 1957. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church of Greenwood, a member of the Cambridge Springs Grange, and the Mitchell Cemetery Auxiliary. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs Gerald (Gertrude) Sutter of Titusville; one son, Earl L Gerow of Pompano Beach, Fla; one sister-in-law, Mrs Charles Gerow of Cambridge Springs; and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the Kenneth M Downs Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs....Further arrangements are incomplete."
