The funeral of Mrs. Charles W. Beadel was held yesterday afternoon at the
residence of her father, P.J. Schuyler of Fairmount, Rev. Arthur Copeland
officiating. Her remains were laid to rest in Geddes Cemetery. A portion of
Mrs. Beadel’s wedded life was spent in Shamokin, Pa., where her husband was
science teacher and after that they resided in Indiana, Pa., where Mr. Beadel
occupied the chair of science in the Indiana Normal School. Since her decline,
which began about two years ago, she has resided at her paternal home, her
husband being connected with the engineering department at the Solvay Process
Works. She was 29 years of age, a graduate of Syracuse High School, a devout
Christian lady of superior judgment and balance. She is survived by her
husband, her father and one brother, Philip D. Schuyler, secretary and treasurer
of the Syracuse Casket Company, also a devoted aunt, Miss Laurn Scott, besides
numerous other relatives and a host of bereaved friends, prominent in business
and social life.
