Albert T Vaughn, 71, of Rt. 1, Mantee died Saturday, April 5 at Houston Medical Center. Funeral services were held Sunday at Pine Bluff Baptist Church with the Rev. Leslie Dodson officiating. Burial was at Pine Bluff Cemetery.

Mr. Vaughn, a retired farmer, was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. He was the son of Guy B Vaughn and Euna Johnson Vaughn. His wife, Mrs. Morrie Vaughn of Mantee, survives him. He was a member of the Pine Bluff Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Paul Vaughn of Woodland; Dan Vaughn of Mantee; four daughters, Mrs. Rena M Atkins of Maben; Mrs. Fay Earnest, Mantee; Miss Barbara Vaughn, West Point; Mrs. Sandra Lester, Vardaman; a brother, Guy Vaughn of Mantee; five sisters, Mrs. Kidie White, Mantee; Mrs. Viola Carter, Meridain; Mrs. Morrie Forrester, West Point; Mrs. Armenda Martin and Mrs. Una Mae Forrester, both of Mantee. Sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.

Serving as pallbearers were Keith Vaughn, Tim Vaughn, Terry Vaughn, Barry Atkins, Jerry W Atkins, Tim Sutherland and Craig Vaughn.
